Course on Quran Inscription Begins in Baghdad
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A course on the prescribed forms of writing the Quran began in the Iraqi capital.
The Baghdad branch of the Quran Teaching Center affiliated to the Astan of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine is holding the specialized course, according to Al-Kafeel.
A number of Quran experts teach the course, taken by the Quran learners of the branch.
The Quranic course includes a weekly lecture by the Quran experts.
It features lessons on diacritical marks in the Quran, history of using diacritical marks in writing the Quran, and different forms of writing the Quran.
It is one in a series of Quranic courses organized by the branch aimed at teaching the basic Quran recitation rules.
